Fine Arts Submissions
We are currently accepting submissions of original works of art for inclusion in our journal series. We are looking for fine art by Canadian artists. While we will consider all submissions, we are particularly interested in non-commercial works that are thought-provoking and challenging or that offer a unique depiction of the Canadian landscape or experience.
We are accepting only digital submissions via the form below. If you have concerns about the format system, please see the bottom of the page for our privacy and copyright policy.
Artists are invited to submit up to 3 files at once. The artist must own the physical piece as well as the rights to reproduce it.
We are looking for work that will reproduce well in a 2-dimensional format via scanning or photography.
Before beginning the submission form below, be prepared to supply:
- A brief summary (<100 words) of the work(s)
- A short biography (<100 words)
- A JPEG, TIFF, or PDF of the work(s)
We may take as long as 90 days to make a decision about the work.
A note on image files: We ask for image files no larger than 3 MB. We are aware that image quality is sacrificed when file size is reduced, and we account for that when evaluating art. Many platforms on which we intend to sell our booka require very small files, and we need to make sure your work can be marketed at a smaller file size. Also, we have a finite amount of storage dedicated to submissions.
